Alton - Went to lung specialist(Dr. Bourgeois) - have moderate Pulmonary Fibrosis of lung. Has some inflammation in the lung - was put on antibiotic  and new inhaler and increased steriod amount to help clear this inflammation.  Dr. feels as though the Fibrosis is from the Rheumatoid Arthritis. He has been off the RA medicine since last July due to Pancreatic cyst that the dr's are monitoring. If he could be put back on medication it would probably slow the progression of the fibrosis.

    Also, he had three skin cancers that were biopsied Monday. Being sent to pathology. Also they frozen a dozen or so other skin lesions on his body.  He is not feeling well with that and is also hurting all over with the arthritis as well.

    Also, we are waiting to get results on Alton's ultrasound of his thyroid. He has goiter and hypothyroidism.

 

Judy -went to the lung doctor for a 7 mm nodule in the right lung (about 1/2 inch in size) that was found on CT scan 7 months ago.  They are doing a repeat CT scan next Tuesday and I will see the doctor to get the results on May 9th.

   I went to my dermatologist for the blisters on my foot.  They did a biopsy (cut and stitched) on the blister to try to find out what is causing them and so we can know how to further treat it.  They will contact me when the results come back in about a week.

    Also, did a mammogram last week and they called back to say that I need further testing because there were clusters of microcalcifications that were seen in my annual mammogram. I am scheduled to have that done Tomorrow.

 

I know this seems like a lot to ask prayer for at one time, but that is what's going on in our lives right now.  Appreciate the prayers.
